Poor access road signage!!! A little more attention to cleanliness in common areas would really elevate the experience!!! Potholes in parking areas are a potential safety concern that needs addressing!!!

The rooms are clean and spacious, which made our stay comfortable. Service can be a bit slow during busy periods, especially at breakfast. Excellent location for walking along the canal or cycling. Just be careful of the potholes when parking.

The lodge's proximity to the canal offers a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for an afternoon stroll or evening wind down. The ample parking right in front of the facility is convenient, with enough room to accommodate larger groups without hassle.

Got a couple of gripes worth mentioning. The mattress was on the softer side, which might not hold up if you're planning to stay longer than a night or two. the reception area felt a bit disorganized. it wasn’t clear if it was the main reception when arriving, which could use some signage. One more thing—if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider on weekends, as noise from events can filter into the rooms.

The beautiful setting provided a welcoming atmosphere, and the comfy beds in the twin room enhanced our stay. Fast and affordable taxis made it easy to get to town. the breakfast lacked options like fresh fruit and yogurt, and the location may not suit those unable to walk far. accessing some areas requires relying on transport.

The Superior Double Room was really spacious and clean. I loved how quiet it was despite being near a main road. The heating was easy to adjust, and the hot water was piping hot—just a heads-up on that! it felt cozy and had everything I needed for my stay.

I loved the cozy Twin Room, and that breakfast spread was just the cherry on top! After a nice walk by the canal, I enjoyed some relaxing time at the bar. Just a heads-up, the bathroom could use a bit of extra cleaning, but everything else was spot on. 😊

I recently enjoyed a night in a comfortable double room with beautiful views right by the canal. The location was perfect for a peaceful stroll into Lincoln, which took about 30 minutes. The on-site restaurant served high-quality meals, and I especially loved the locally sourced ingredients used in my dish.
